macOS guests
Install supported macOS versions as virtual machines on a compatible host Mac. For beta / seed builds you may need Device Support packages from Apple if installation fails.
Historical restore-image build tables from older docs are omitted here because download links go stale quickly. Prefer current images from Apple when creating a new macOS VM.
Example restore references (placeholders)
These rows illustrate the kind of metadata older docs listed. Treat them as examples only — verify builds before use.
| Version | Example build | Notes |
